Vine For Windows Phone App Launches

Vine has officially launched Vine for Windows Phone, making Twitter’s popular six-second video loop app available on iPhone, Android, and Windows.

Vine for Windows even has unique-to-Windows features.

Just like with Vine for iOS and Vine for Android, the Vine for Windows app works by having users tap and hold the screen to create short, looping videos with sound.

Vine’s newest tricks, like camera grid and front-facing mode, are present on Windows as well. Users can also access Vine’s Explore section to check out popular Vines, browse through different channels, and find friends.

Here’s what’s unique to Windows Phone: you can pin your favorite Vine accounts to your homescreen, and use Pivots to easily switch between your apps.

The Vine for Windows app also takes advantage of Windows Phone’s camera “lenses,” so users can access those features in-app, in addition to the environment’s live tiles, which alert users to new content via the app’s icon on the home screen.

Windows Phone users, will you download Vine?
