UPDATE: Wells Fargo Agency Review In Progress
Mark Folk, a spokesperson for the Wells Fargo Wealth, Brokerage, and Retirement Group tells PRNewser that the agency review process currently under way is in its “preliminary phase,” emphasizing that they have “made no decision at this point.”
“We have issued an RFP and we’re interested in learning more about the firms out there,” said Folk. “This is really more a part of our discovery and evaluation.”
Folk had no details about when a decision would be made, and said the Group is determining the qualities they’re seeking based on the RFP process.
“This is a relatively new group for Wells Fargo, formed in late 2008 as a result of the merger with Wachovia,” Folk added.
