United Airlines senior vice president of corporate and government affairs Rosemary Moore has left the company after a merger with Continental Airlines, the company said today.

Moore has been with United since 2002, and oversaw government relations, corporate responsibility and strategic communications, including media relations, employee communications and investor relations.

She previously worked with United Chairman and CEO Glenn Tilton at Texaco and Chevron.

Continental said in their own release that Nene Foxhall, who joined the company in 1995, will oversee the communications and government affairs functions.

In May, a United spokesperson told PRNewser that the merger would not affect the company’s PR agency of record, Edelman.
