Twitter Suspends More Pro-ISIS Accounts
Twitter has suspended hundreds of pro-Islamic State profiles in another platform-wide purge on the social network.
The move came after the international terror group ISIS released another of its propaganda videos which featured British hostage John Cantlie, a photographer who worked for the Sunday Times newspaper until he was abducted in 2012.
Belgium-based researcher Pieter Van Ostaeyen noted that Twitter had “taken down at least 400 ISIS supporters in the last seven hours.”
