Thomas The Train Arrives On The iPad

Thomas the Tank Engine is coming to the iPad. Digital publisher Callaway Digital Arts has teamed with HIT Entertainment to publish the first Thomas app called Misty Island Rescue.

The new kids’ book app is based on the Thomas & Friends feature film with the same name. The app tells the story of the train with interactive elements such as animated puzzles, engine games, painting activities and dynamic narration. There are also animated videos and sound effects.

The app is the first in a series of applications the two companies will be creating together for the Thomas & Friends brand.
