There’ve always been cases of mistaken identity. For instance, Count Chocula (left) is constantly being mistaken for Count Dracula. We’re told they often get each other’s email.

But then, there’s cases of mistaken identity writ large. And this kind of screw-up should give anyone pause if ever asked to interview for a job with the BBC.

(So much for exercising a modicum of discretion with his current employer. Let’s hope the Wrong Guy at least got the IT gig.)
