Stat App Lets You Order an Ambulance Like a Taxi
Stat a new startup hopes to be to ambulances what Uber is to cars. The idea is that users will be able to order up a non-emergency medical transportation to their door from the app.
Check it out: “Whether your mom needs a wheelchair van in Florida for her dialysis appointment or a patient needs an ambulance transport across town, just select your transport type and push request – and we’ll do the rest.”
The app uses geolocation to find a user and match them with an ambulance in their area.
