Starz Reveals 'Party Down's Digital Return
Starz comedy “Party Down” attained a cult following during its two seasons on the pay-channel.
But, as with so many series (see Development, Arrested) a cult following is not always enough to sustain it. The series was canceled earlier this year, and much to the chagrin of fans, it was pulled from all of the sites that stream episodes online, including Netflix.
Now Starz is plotting to bring it back, and it is doing so in an unusual way.
Starting August 16, fans can pre-order episodes of he series through Starz’ electronic-sell-through partners, like Amazon, Apple iTunes, Xbox Live and PlayStation.
