Serve, the digital payment and commerce platform from American Express, debuted a Facebook application that allows users to send, receive, and request money without leaving the social network.
Serve, the digital payment and commerce platform from American Express, debuted a Facebook application that allows users to send, receive, and request money without leaving the social network.
Users who want to send money via the Serve app can select the recipient from their friends list, which is automatically populated into the app’s interface, and then choose the amount and click send.
Recipients will receive messages on their Facebook walls with directions on how to retrieve funds and a link to sign up for Serve.
And requesting money from Facebook friends is basically the same process as sending money.
