Samsung Galaxy Player (iPod touch competitor) Will Ship with Qik Video Calling & Sharing App
Samsung’s unreleased iPod touch competitor, the Galaxy Player, will ship with a well known video sharing and, more recently, video calling app when it becomes available. Qik’s blog notes that its app will be pre-installed on the Galaxy Player.
Combined with Skype’s major update for the iPhone, Apple’s FaceTime video calling app may be marginallized in 2011 if it does not become available for non-Apple platforms or fails to interoperate with other communication services.
