Roll Call's Preston To CNN
Veteran Roll Caller Mark Preston has been hired by CNN as its new political editor, replacing John Mercurio who jumped to the Hotline.
Preston, a well-respected Senate reporter, joins an impressive line-up of recent Roll Call alumni: Sonny Bunch, Chris Cillizza, Kenny Day, Mike Grass, and Amanda McClements.
The move also means that Paul Kane is the only senior writer left at the paper.
No formal announcement has been made….
