Roll Call: McDonald’s, Primary Wave Music,, and More

McDonald’s hasn’t hired a new mascot, but it has appointed a new VP SVP of global external comms. Bridget Coffing has been promoted to the position (she was previously VP), in which she’s responsible for media relations, marcomms, internal communications, PR, and CSR. She joined the company in 1985 from GolinHarris. [via Chicago Business]

Anne Watkins has joined Primary Wave Music, a music branding, publishing, and talent management company, as director of PR. She was previously with Lizzie Grubman Public Relations. Among Primary Wave’s clients are Cee Lo Green (right), Eric Benet, and Steven Tyler.

Meghan Stuvvenberg has joined, the online coupon site, as head of PR and community management. In her role, she’ll be in charge of media relations, deal syndication, and audience engagement. She was previously associate director of digital at Hill & Knowlton in Australia. Brian Lee has also joined the company as head of consumer experience, in charge of positioning the benefits of the site and its recent personalization launch. He comes from where he was director of product management.

Carlos Sousa has joined Here Media as integrated marketing director. He’ll be working with a range of Here Media brands including The Advocate, Out, and He was previously associate marketing director at Hachette Filipacchi Media.

Dan Beder has joined Isobar as MD of the Boston office. Beder joins from digital agency Digitas, where he was EVP and marketing director working with many P&G brands including Olay, Oral-B, and Crest. He is replacing Vangie Deane who is leaving the firm after a decade. Isobar is a global comms agency, part of Aegis Media Group.
