Reality TV Tough Guy’s Book Gives Advice To Women

Single ladies beware. The winner of ABC’s reality TV show “Bachelor Pad” is hoping to help bachelorettes everywhere better understand tough men with a new book that comes out this week. Reality TV star David Good has authored a guide designed to give women advice on dating.

The book, is called The Man Code: A Woman’s Guide To Cracking The Tough Guy, and it is now available in eBook form and will be available in print later this month. You can check out sample chapters on the author’s website.

Here is an excerpt: “The story goes that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. Presuming that’s correct, my road begins with McDonald’s and a cinnamon roll. Before I was school age, my dad used to come into my room at 3 a.m. and say, “C’mon, bud. Get up. Let’s go.”

Whether or not it is a good idea to let reality TV stars write, we’ll let you determine. Either way, the free chapters online are pretty entertaining. Here is more of the work, which is riddled with cliché: “…there is one thing which I am an expert: guy’s guys. Men’s men. Hardened dudes with soft centers and dirt under their fingernails. The sort of guys who are the subjects of Hank Williams songs.”
