Post Promotes Training Head

Len Downie has announced that Peter Perl, the Post’s director of training and career development for the past two years, has been promoted to the rank of assistant managing editor. The new title “will place him on an equal footing with others who have critical roles in the career paths and professional development of The Post’s news staff,” the paper said.
