Last month we took a close look at how AMC Theatres were using Twitter’s new ‘buy’ button to market a new promotion on the network. Now, Old Navy is getting in on the action with an exclusive just for their followers.
“Our limited-edition @thenovogratz family blanket is available for exclusive pre-sale on Twitter. Offer ends today!” tweeted @OldNavy earlier today.

Click on the ‘buy’ button and you’re presented with this pop-up.
From here, click the ‘buy now’ button and you’re promoted to enter your payment details, which are then saved on your Twitter account for future transactions.
Much like with the AMC promo it’s not the strongest of offers. Hopefully it won’t be too long before a big brand uses the button for an incentive that really takes off, analyses the data, and gives us a nice case study to digest.
