O2 to Announce Mobile Flat Rate, Shorter Contracts
Telefónica o2 Germany will launch a new mobile flat rate charge on October 15, 2008 with a minimum contract period reduced to six months, according to SlashPhone.
The report said that the price per month of EUR15 includes calls to the German fixed network and the German o2 mobile network, and that calls to other German mobile networks cost 19 cents per minute or per SMS message. After the six-month period is up, customers can either choose a different contract or continue the flat-rate deal.
