Nielsen Social Content Ratings, Week of Nov. 21: Dallas Cowboys Keep Streaking

Meanwhile, the National Football League in general and the Dallas Cowboys in particular remained atop the sports category.

The Soul Train Awards were responsible for 1.879 million total interactions across Facebook and Twitter, blowing away AMC’s The Walking Dead (555,000) and NBC’s The Voice (450,000).

And NFL games accounted for seven of the top 10 sports events for the week in terms of total interactions, led by the Cowboys’ victory over Thanksgiving Day guests the Washington Redskins, at 11.425 million.

Three college football games made up the rest of the top 10, led by Ohio State University’s victory over the University of Michigan at No. 2 and the University of Alabama’s defeat of rival Auburn University at No. 3.
