New Hires in Mobile: Bottle Rocket Apps, EA Mobile, Foursquare, & More

Last week was not a strong week for mobile hiring activity, with only four developers showing any life (and even then, most only hired one individual). However, the past seven days have turned that around as a tremendous amount of new faces are joining eleven different mobile companies, according to information from LinkedIn and other sources. Along with a large volume of hires, InMobi also sees a new head of marketing, APAC, with Sally Wuu. She was previously the Shanghai General Manager at BLUE Interactive Marketing. Kirby Sander, Resource Manager -- Sander was most recently a project manager for Pursuant. Nathan Quirl, iOS Developer -- Joining Bottle Rocket Apps, Quirl was most recently a part of Production Resource Group. McLaren Stanley, iOS Developer -- Stanley was an application developer for Verizon. Greg Flory, Strategist -- Flory was previously a marketing manager at imc2. Wendi McGowan, Marketing Manager & Brand Ambassador -- Now at Bottle Rocket Apps, McGowan was formerly content management and interactive marketing strategy at Verizon. Tom Jones, iOS Developer -- Jones was previously an employee of Intuit. His exact prior role is unknown. Tyler Milner, iOS Developer Intern -- Now at Bottle Rocket Apps, Milner was previously a student at University of Texas at Dallas (UTD). Tony Cooper, iOS Developer Intern -- Cooper was also previously a student at UTD. EA Mobile Dhaval Vasani, QA Tester -- There is a sole hire for EA Mobile this week. Vasani was most recently a student at Loyola Academy. Foursquare Keyana Stevens, Community Intern -- A single hire appears at Foursquare. Stevens was a TV intern at CMJ Network. Gameloft Jean-Christophe Ghibaudo, Senior Level Artist -- Starting off the string of new Gameloft hires is Ghibaudo, a former senior level artist from Eidos Montreal. Kelvin Celis, 3D Programmer -- Also joining Gameloft is Celis, a former graphics and lead programmer at Kaxan Games. Eugene Ong, Producer -- Ong was previously a senior project executive at XM Asia Pacific. Zian Ismail, HR & Admin Executive -- Ismail was most formerly an administrator for Emily Hill Enterprise Ltd. Etienne Jodoin, Programmer -- Joining Gameloft, Jodoin was most recently a software engineer at ELCA Informatique SA. Joseph Ayoub, Social Media Marketing Manager -- Ayoub was a community manager at influence digitale. Glu Mobile Heming Liu, Software Engineer -- Another single hire this week. Jumptap Manish Shah, Lead Developer -- Now a part of Jumptap, Shah was most recently a senior associate of software at Synechron. Ngmoco Ryan Hunt, Ad Sales Representative -- Joining ngmoco this week, Hunt was previously a revenue operations analyst at Yahoo!. Rovio Mobile Antti Gronlund, Content Manager -- Now at Rovio Mobile, Gronlund was previously a student at Tampereen yliopisto. Storm8 Christine Knopp, Game Artist -- Storm8 shows activity this week. Knopp was formerly a student at the Academy of Art University. Tapjoy Georgia Herdener, Assistant -- Tapjoy sees a single hire. Herdener was previously a King County Road to Recovery volunteer coordinator at the American Cancer Society.
