Global click-through rates jumped 17 percent in the first quarter of 2015 compared with the fourth quarter of 2014, and CTRs soared 260 percent year-over-year, according to the latest research from Nanigans, a Facebook Marketing Partner.
Other findings by the advertising automation software company included:
- Spending on Facebook video ads grew 2.8 times quarter-over-quarter.
- Spending on multi-product ads shot up by 5.2 times during the same time period.
- Global costs per click fell 17 percent in the first quarter of 2015 compared with the fourth quarter of 2014, and cost per thousand impressions (CPMs) slipped 3 percent, due to the holiday shopping season inflating numbers for the previous period.
