MySpace Downloads on BlackBerry Highlight RIM’s New Consumer Focus

Once thought of as a one-trick pony for corporate e-mail access, BlackBerry has quickly becoming a blended (business/personal) and consumer-oriented device. Nowhere is there a more compelling proof point than today’s news that RIM has shattered all download records with the MySpace application. In just a week, the MySpace app has been downloaded 400,000 times and users have sent/received more than 15 million messages.
