MobiTV and Intel Join Forces
Mobile TV provider MobiTV is branching out. Laptop magazine is reporting that MobiTV just announced a partnership with Intel to bring live television feeds to other devices, such as laptop computers and ultra-mobile PCs (those tiny 1 lb. machines with compromised “chiclet” keyboards).
This deal could raise awareness for the MobiTV brand and get consumers used to the idea of watching television over the Internet. Then they could watch the same exact channels on their cellphone once they leave the house.
