John Hughes Named Exec VP at AMI’s Radar Online

John Hughes has been named executive vp/business development of American Media’s Radar Online, the recently-launched reincarnation of the twice-failed magazine.

A seasoned media industry veteran, Hughes was most recently focused on running several technology startups, including Clashorama, a site which enables users to view and compare multiple videos at once. At Radar Online, Hughes will handle all the day-to-day business operations of Radaronline.com, including business development, sales and marketing.

Hughes’ hire marks the start of his second tenure working for American Media president and CEO David Pecker, who previously ran Hachette Filipacchi Media.
