While its primary target audience is musicians, I suspect a lot of people will use it to produce podcasts and video-casts with their iPhone (or iPad 2 if it comes with a camera). It may reduce that echo-ing boomy sound that we often hear in video casts when people do not use an external microphone to record the speech of the person in front of a camera.
