Invisible Children, Louis Vuitton, Nike, more on this week’s top 20 growing Facebook pages

International voices made a big appearance on our list of the fastest growing Facebook pages this week. The “Invisible Children” documentary and organization that gained attention through social and traditional media for a viral video saw the most new fans this week.

Also popular was a Turkish TV show, several musicians, Louis Vuitton, an Indian cricket team, a Brazilian broadcasting network and Nike. Pages on our list this week grew from between 401,700 to 2.4 million Likes. Two pages for Invisible Children made the list. One of the pages is outdated, but still grew by 781,500 Likes. The other Invisible Children page, which has Timeline enabled, grew by 2.4 million Likes this week.

Then a Turkish TV show, Adını Feriha Koydum, grew by 545,800 Likes and seems popular for posting online links to watch the show very frequently.

Musicians on the list were led by Adele, followed by Avril Lavigne and Rihanna. These singers seem to ride their waves of popularity, as well as media appearances and product launches. Fashion company Louis Vuitton frequently posts photos and videos of their products, resulting in some new growth for the page. Another clothing brand, Nike, could be growing as the result its marketing work at South By Southwest in Austin, Texas.

Sports made the list, too. Indian cricket team Chennai Super Kings posts all about its activities on and off the field. Basketball player Jeremy Lin continued to grow his page by simply being popular and updating his status. Finally the AXN Brasil network continues to post frequently about American TV shows in syndication in Brazil.
