'House of Cards' Kevin Spacey on Lawmakers' Support for the Arts
Kevin Spacey, who portrays Frank Underwood on “House of Cards,” was in town last night for a benefit concert at the Shakespeare Theatre and The Washington Post’s Reliable Source Helena Andrews snagged five minutes for a Q&A with the actor.
Spacey, who founded the Kevin Spacey Foundation to provide funding for talented artists, shared with Andrews what he thinks lawmakers can do to support the arts:
“They can do much more in getting money into the arts. Arts and culture are not a luxury item, they’re a hugely important part of our lives.
