Hey, Facebook Users, You Look FFabulous

While many Facebook users, citing privacy concerns, are seeking ways to limit photo-tagging on the social network, Israeli fashion portal Fashion Forward is encouraging the opposite type of behavior.

While many Facebook users, citing privacy concerns, are seeking ways to limit photo-tagging on the social network, Israeli fashion portal Fashion Forward is encouraging the opposite type of behavior.

The company created a Facebook page, You Look FFabulous, which enables users to compliment photos in which their friends look, well, fabulous.

After liking the You Look FFabulous page, Facebook users can tag their friends photos’ with the message, “You look FFabulous”

At the time of this post, 5,345 Facebook users liked the Fashion Forward Facebook page, while its You Look FFabulous counterpart had drawn just 52 likes — but the latter was just a few hours old.

In terms of more conventional photo tagging, Facebook launched an update in May allowing users to tag the names of pages, as well as friends.

Readers, do you think enhanced photo tagging such as You Look FFabulous will catch on?
