Google, New America Foundation Seek National Broadband Plan Input

Google and the New America Foundation teamed up to create a Website via the Google Moderator program encouraging visitors to submit their ideas for the upcoming National Broadband Plan and allowing people to vote for their favorites, GigaOM reported. The two parties will then submit the winner to the Federal Communications Commission in two weeks.

Google was part of a similar effort in the debate over white spaces, or using the space between channels in the digital-TV spectrum to deliver broadband services.
