Google Adds Images to Mobile Ads

Google is growing its mobile advertising business to include images in addition to text. The mobile display banners are offered in four sizes, which makes a lot of sense since there’s a lot of variance in screen size from a flip-phone to an iPhone.

According to CNET’s Crave blog, the banners are similar to those you see on a typical Web page, but Google limits them to one per page and requires that they link back to mobile-specific sites.
