Glad to Finally Get Skype mobile for Verizon Wireless But Wondering if it Has Jumped the Shark
I was finally able to download
Verizon Wireless with Skype mobile
on my Droid last night. However, I have to admit I was still a bit puzzled about its rules of the road even after reading an explantion of one of the service’s quirks in this Skype blog item:
Skype mobile for Verizon Wireless available from Thursday
The qurik is that Skype-to-Skype calls are made over Verizon Wireless’ voice network. Skype states that this does NOT incur charges against your data plan or use up voice minutes.
