Extra, Extra: NAA Reports Record 1Q for Newspaper Web Sites
Good news from the Newspaper Association of America: Newspaper Web sites drew an average of 74.4 million unique visitors per month during the first quarter, accounting for 37 percent of Internet users and topping the previous mark of 72 million set during the fourth quarter of 2009, according to a custom analysis provided by Nielsen Online.
The report also found that newspaper Web sites totaled 3.2 billion page views during the first quarter, with more than 2.3
