Examiner Says 'Fete'

The D.C. Examiner’s top story on A-3 today was a totally objective review of its own launch party last night at the National Museum of Women in the Arts.

The party, complete with eagle-themed ice sculpture, saw Publisher James McDonald promise, “A new-style paper not driven by traditional conventions…. A paper that is meaningful and engaging to readers and efficient and effective for advertisers.”

The self-proclaimed “star-studded” guest list ranged from politicos (Sens. Salazar, Allard, Hatch, and Allen) to sports (Skins owner Dan Snyder) to business leaders (AOL’s Steve Case).
