Droid X Weird Problem: Press Phone Contacts, Crash, Lose 3G (video demo)

A friend at work bought a Droid X from Verizon and ran into a weird problem that can be reproduced 100% of the time. You can see the problem demonstrated in the video above. Android’s phone app crashes everytime he taps the app’s Contacts option. But, the oddness doesn’t end there. Immediately after the crash, 3G is completely lost and then restored a few seconds later.
