Double Fusion CEO Steps Down

Jonathan Epstein has stepped down as the CEO of the in-game advertising firm Double Fusion. Epstein is being replaced by Alex Sood, who previously led the company’s Asian division.

Sood’s hire comes as the in-game ad space looks to bounce back from a brutal 2009, which saw rival firm IGA Worldwide put itself up for sale as it desperately sought funding. Double Fusion looks to be in a more stable position, as the company has also announced it has secured new funding from Jerusalem Venture Partners.

Officials declined to disclose how much funding had been secured. But Sood expressed optimism. “The ongoing confidence and support of our investors ensures our ability to shape the future of in-game advertising,” he said.

“The market is showing real traction and acceptance for in-game advertising as a must-have media for brands looking to reach a core demographic target.”
