CNN iReport Tries to Track Haiti Earthquake Victims, Survivors
CNN iReport is doing its part to help people contact their friends and family in Haiti, compiling a database with more than 4,200 submissions so far that tracks earthquake victims and survivors by name and allows users to update iReports with information.
The email address for the initiative is haitimissing@cnn.com.
CNN iReport also said Rep. Anthony Wiener (D-N.Y.) is organizing an effort to travel to Haiti, and his group will contact iReport so that the database can be updated.
