A harmful link is showing up on users’ News Feed through status updates from big names like Google, the Daily Show, YouTube, and more.

Earlier today you might have found YouTube, Google, and even Michael Jackson and Lil Wayne’s Facebook Pages tell you, via a status update, to follow a link to “Change Your Facebook Background!” Well, hopefully you didn’t click on it.

TechCrunch’s MG Siegler reports that the link contained in said status is malicious, taking you outside of Facebook and asking for some personal information. The bottom of the page reportedly said, “Powered By AWeber Email Marketing.” Although most links that showed up earlier today have been taken down, some are still finding them popping up.

Did you notice these updates showing up on your Feed? What other Facebook Pages were hacked?
