Our weekly growth leaderboard has seen its share of twists and turns since last Thursday. We have quite a few new applications, some continuing trends to note, and Causes bounces back with yet another solid week. Causes returns to the top spot once again this week; the application saw a massive 3,637,102 increase in users. Currently, the application has risen to 22,870,074 monthly active users.
And two quiz applications appear on this week’s list in Spanish. Entrevista Social had a tremendous seven days, with 1,752,051 new users this week making the app the second fastest growing on Facebook. Preguntas y Respuestas follows close behind, with 1,645,098 people adding it this week.
Three applications appearing on the fastest growing list for the time this week. EastSocial’s Name Meanings witnessed a 1,235,339 weekly growth increase; 14 Best Friends, offering fun statistics about the most frequent commenters on profiles, got 593,516 new users. And the recently launched Monopoly Millionaires from Electronic Arts saw 561,393 newcomers.
Meanwhile, an additional 638,575 Facebook users helps Conduit rest comfortably on the list for a second week in a row. Profilbanner auf Deutsch had a hand in redesigning a more sleek photo layout to 582,043 profiles.
Finally, we close out this week looking at two games that continue to have success. Zumba Blitz, developed by PopCap Games, has 4,538,026 monthly active users, and in the past week the gaming application was added by over a half million Facebook users. Hanging on to the tenth spot on this week’s list is Ravenwood Fair; 550,879 players started hanging out with the cute animals in the LOLApps developed game.
