Backflip Studios has announced the launch of the newest game in its popular NinJump series, turning the vertical endless climber into a side-scrolling endless runner. Ninjump Rooftops sees players jumping across multiple levels of rooftops, collecting coins to purchase power-ups and other items in the store.

NinJump Rooftops also includes a light combat system, as players can defeat enemies in their path to earn special rewards. By defeating three of the same enemy in a row, players unlock specially themed rewards. For instance, by defeating three evil pandas in a row, players unlock a massive Panda that vacuums up coins.

As players become accustomed to the gameplay in NinJump Rooftops, they’ll be able to double or triple jump to stay in the air longer, earning more coins and power-ups. Coins can be used to purchase new costumes and powers in the store, like coin magnets, larger shields that protect against enemies and more.

All the while, scores are tracked via in-game leaderboards, allowing players to compare their scores against friends.

Games in the NinJump franchise have been downloaded more than 80 million times, and still pull in more than 20 million monthly active users. This new installment is now available to download for free on iOS devices. Check back soon to follow NinJump Rooftops on AppData, our tracking service for mobile and social apps and developers.
