AutoStitch Panorama for iPhone: Simple to Use, High Quality Panoramic Results

After seeing the good results my friend Ryan Ozawa had stitching a panoramic photo out of iPhone 4 photos, I asked him which app he used. He replied:

AutoStitch Panorama 3.0 ($2.99 in the iTunes App Store)

He noted that it had recently been updated. The updates include:

– High quality blending option to reduce blur in overlap areas
– Auto-exposure to reduce brightness variations
– Share photos via email or post to Facebook

I bought a copy for myself and created a couple of test panoramas using an iPhone 4. You can see one of the tests above. I left the stitched photo uncropped so you could see the raw output. The photo below is one of the six photos used to create the panoramic image. I’m quite pleased with the test panoramas I’ve created so far.
