Author Anne B. Ragde Concerned About Piracy, But…

Norwegian author Anne B. Ragde is afraid of eBook piracy. But her son says that that hasn’t stopped her from getting free music from nefarious sources.

Torrent Invites has the English translation of an interview the author did with Norwegian newspaper Dagens Naeringsliv. According to the post Ragde said: “I have figured out that I’ve lost half a million kronor ($72,500) on piracy of my books, maybe more.”

In the interview, she went on to point out that Norwegian musicians have to do concerts to make ends meet. But apparently her son thinks she is not telling the whole story. CNET reports: “Jo Ragde reportedly offered: ‘You have a pirated MP3 collection. We copied the first 1,500 songs from one place and 300 from another.’”
