Asustek's Eee Tablet Could Be As Soon As October, As Cheap As $300
PC World is reporting that Asustek is gearing up to release its long awaited Eee Tablet, in October for around $300 in the U.S. From PC World: “The Eee Tablet will run a Linux OS, but not Google’s Android mobile operating system, which has long been the rumor.” It has an 8 -inch LCD display, with a 1024 by 768 resolution.
And CNET is reporting that Austek’s Eee Pad device could be out in March for $399.
