Apple Job Posting Points to Impending International iBooks Launch
Apple recently posted a job listing for “Manager, iBooks, Asia Pacific & Canada” that’s got blogs–look at Quill & Quire and MacRumors–speculating about the international launch of iBooks, which is currently slated to launch only in the US when the iPad is released.
According to Apple, “This position is responsible for launching and growing the iBook business in Asia Pacific and Canada and building an extensive offering for customers. This will involve working with the iBooks and iTunes teams in Cupertino, Canada, Australia and other countries, and with content partners to secure content from U.S.,
