Android Malware Seeing Huge Increases: Malware Generated Status Updates Soon?

McAfee: Android malware surges 76%, iPhone untouched

Earlier reports noted that Android malware quadrupled between June 2010 and January 2011. McAfee’s 76% increase is for the second quarter of 2011. The earlier report was generated by Juniper Networks and BullGuard. Apple’s iOS (iPhone/iPad), on the other hand, has no malware.
