Amazon Tries to Kindle Cooks' Appetites

Amazon announced the addition of three new high-profile cookbooks to its Kindle store: How to Cook Everything, Completely Revised 10th Anniversary Edition: 2,000 Simple Recipes for Great Food by Mark Bittman; Rose’s Heavenly Cakes by Rose Levy Berenbaum; and Kneadlessly Simple: Fabulous, Fuss-Free, No Knead Breads by Nancy Baggett, all published by Wiley.

The company is trying to tempt cooks, claiming “Kindle for iPhone or Kindle for BlackBerry is a great way to keep ingredients lists with you when you go to the grocery store, and then pick up right at that recipe on your Kindle when you’re ready to cook.
