The I ♥ NY logo designed by Milton Glaser for a 1977 tourism campaign remains an iconic symbol for New York, appearing in every souvenir shop in the city.

But a new WE ❤️NYC version, created by independent creative agency Founders for a post-pandemic resurgence campaign, seems unlikely to have the same staying power. The rebranding has received largely negative reviews since its debut March 20.
