Texting and others forms of digital communication play a vital role in relationships these days, but some teens and young adults don’t have the tools to recognize signs of emotional abuse that can happen on these platforms.

But One Love Foundation, a nonprofit committed to ending relationship abuse, wants to bring these issues to light. Tied to Domestic Violence Awareness Month, One Love partnered with agency Minds + Assembly to create “Unhealthy Connections,” a campaign with three 30-second PSAs depicting the kind of situations and language that can come about in an emotionally abusive situation via text.
