When rideshare company Uber launched its Uber Eats delivery service in 2014, it was dispatching heated burritos out of the trunks of its drivers’ cars.

Nearly two years into the pandemic, Uber Eats now brings cosmetics, toiletries, baby items and a whole lot of other inedible goods to app users’ doorsteps. In teaser spots leading up to the company’s 2022 Super Bowl ad, Uber makes clear just how much its delivery brand has outgrown the “Eats” portion of its name.
