Colgate Equates Oral Beauty With Self-Care as It Enters the Emerging Category

The new product collection CO. by Colgate is aimed directly at Gen Z

The term “oral beauty” probably isn’t familiar to most people. The product category doesn’t exist on Walmart’s or Target’s website, and a search on Google Trends turns up nothing.

The Colgate-Palmolive Company is aiming to change this.

Today, the New York-based consumer goods company, which claims to control 40% of the global toothpaste market, is introducing CO. by Colgate. The new line of products is aimed at young shoppers who increasingly lump oral care with self-care.

Apart from toothpaste and manual and electric toothbrushes, the collection includes foaming anti-stain mouth rinse, anticavity toothpaste tabs with fluoride and an overnight whitening wand.
