7-Eleven Puts the ‘Convenience’ in ‘Convenience Store’ with Expanded Mobile Checkout

The retailer first began testing cashierless options in 2018

Convenience store chain 7-Eleven is expanding mobile checkout to an additional 2,500 U.S. locations as it seeks to provide the functionality in all U.S. stores by the end of 2022.

The expansion brings a scan-and-go option to a total of 3,000 locations and counting in cities like Chicago, Dallas, Miami, New York, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington D.C.
