U.S. Dominates Media Lions Shortlist

CANNES, FRANCE The U.S. dominated the Media Lions shortlist on Monday at the International Advertising Festival here, placing 19 entries among the total of 152 finalists.

The U.S. scored only five of the 135 places on the Direct Lions shortlist, however. The United Kingdom topped that category with 30 places.

Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Miami placed the most entries on the Media Lions shortlist of any U.S. agency, with five, two for Burger King’s “Chicken Fight,” one for “Making Friends for Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Miami placed the most entries on the Media Lions shortlist of any U.S.
