Universal McCann Adds Network Radio Director

NEW YORK Irene Katsnelson has left Publicis Group’s MediaVest for Interpublic Group’s Universal McCann in the newly created role of vice president, director of network radio.

Katsnelson, based in New York, has direct management responsibilities for business development of the growing network radio buying services at Universal McCann, a representative said. She will work with a diverse suite of clients including Coca-Cola, Johnson & Johnson, Nestle and Sony.

Katsnelson, 34, was previously the director of network radio at MediaVest, New York, where she oversaw all aspects of the network radio department including client servicing, upfront and scatter negotiations, and vendor relations. During her 15 years at MediaVest, Katsnelson worked with a wide range of clients including Kraft/Nabisco, Phillips Electronics and Procter & Gamble.
